With Christmas coming I thought this blog was quite appropriate. Many artists are currently worried that their careers are headed for difficulty because of reducing CD sales.
Is the era of the super selling single over?
Funnily enough the highest selling single of all time is the Christmas ditty “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby with sales of over 50 million. Bing is also responsible for the third highest with “Silent night”, sandwiching Sir Elton John with the tribute “Candle in the Wind”.
